Diagnostic Efficacy of Cervical Lesions by Cytology and Colposcopy

Cervical cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed and fourth leading cause of death in women worldwide. The highest incidence rates are found developing countries; Mexico, it represents one main causes women, which why a real public health problem.
 Objective: To compare diagnostic efficacy low high grade lesions cervix using colposcopy cytology attending medical services unit State Hidalgo.
 Material Methods: A retrospective, descriptive, observational epidemiological study was carried out 243 with complete information database who attended cervical-uterine qualitative screening test from ethnomethodology focused on key informants' discourse.
 Results: Out 278, subjects were selected for analysis, 115 (47%) during 2012, 111 (46%) 2013 17 (7%) months January to May year 2014, minimum age 19 years, maximum 63, mean 41 standard deviation 9.92 none cases differences detected general diagnosis low- high-grade injury. Currently problem non-unified codes capturing continues.
 Conclusions: It necessary unify capture codes, since diversity used that denote each captured case. Currently, this continues regarding denotes difficulty negative results operationally.
